About me

This work is personal to me.

I’m Keagan, the founder of Key in Recovery. I am in long term recovery myself, and I know what it’s like to feel stuck, lost, and unsure where to turn. I also know what it takes to find a way out. That experience is what led me to this work—and it’s what shapes how I show up for every individual and family I work with.

Through my own journey and education in the addiction field, I’ve gained not only sobriety, but a deep understanding of the challenges that come with addiction and mental health struggles—on both sides. I understand what it feels like to be the one struggling, and I understand how overwhelming it can be for the people who care about them.

At Key in Recovery, we focus on creating a clear path forward. Whether it’s guiding a family through an intervention, safely transporting a loved one to treatment, or providing ongoing coaching and support, our goal is to bring structure, clarity, and calm to situations that often feel chaotic.

I approach this work with honesty, compassion, and professionalism—meeting people where they are, without judgment. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just a service to me—it’s something I believe in.
